Unlike our Civ VII news section, this page stays quiet for a good reason — Civ 6 has been in a mature, stable state since its last content release, with Firaxis's development attention now focused on Civ VII.
Civilization VI's last DLC pass (Leader Pass) concluded in March 2023, and the game has received no further paid content since. This is a genuinely good thing for a strategy game at this stage — it means the ruleset, balance, and civilization roster you see across this entire site are effectively final and won't shift under you.
If Firaxis releases a surprise balance patch or new content for Civ 6, it'll be reflected here first, and we'll flag anywhere else on the site that the new information affects (civilization pages, tier lists, mechanics guides) rather than letting outdated content linger.
